The Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” is a non-OG colorway of the iconic retro basketball shoe from Jordan Brand that originally released back in 1989.

Fast forward to 2020 and the “Black Cat” iteration is making its return to retailers for the second time ever on January 25th. The first retro of the “Black Cat” 4s released back in 2006 to much fanfare, being one of the few all-black Jordans to ever release.

The Shoes

As you can probably already guess, the Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” gets its unofficial nickname from its colorway’s close resemblance to the mythical, Black Panther.

Of course, the shoe’s upper mid-sole and outsole are solely dressed in black, with the only other color used on the shoe being the graphite Jumpman logo that adorns the tongue.
