For 2022, Nike has been dropping new versions and re-releasing popular versions (ie. “Panda” Dunks) at a blistering pace and the Swoosh isn’t showing signs of slowing down anytime soon. Throughout the year, the brand has made a clear commitment to the ladies and that trend continues with this upcoming “Rose Whisper’ iteration.
Design, Materials, and Color
When it comes to this iteration of the Nike Dunk, they didn’t steer to far from their bread-n-butter mix of materials or design. The shoe’s upper is comprised of the normal grade of leather found on most Dunks these days and is also done in the traditional color-blocker.
The white underlays are contrasted by light-pink overlays throughout. Rounding out the design and cleaning up the look is the light-pink outsole done in the same shade as the upper panels. All-in-all there’s nothing out of the ordinary, but sometimes that’s a good thing. Simplicity wins with this women's-exclusive release.
