Inspired by Japanese bullet trains, the Air Max 97 has been a staple within Nike’s retro-runner lineup for over two decades and its popularity doesn’t appear to be fading. Over the years, the “Silver Bullet” and “Gold Bullet” colorways have been at the forefront of the silhouette’s success, with the latter set to drop the first week of March 2023.

As far as the design, this version of the OG colorway will feature a gold leather and mesh upper that is accented with hits of red which appears on the shoe's tongue and side panel Nike logos. Rounding out the design will be the white midsole and gold laces that are also in keeping with the original design.
