2025 Air Jordan 11 Low ‘Bred’
Colorway: Black/Varsity Red-White
Style Code: FV5104-006
Release Date: April 26, 2025
Price: $190 USD -
The Air Jordan 11 Low “Bred” returns in 2025, reviving one of the most iconic colorways in the Jordan legacy. Dressed in Black/Varsity Red-White, this low-top version of the classic Air Jordan 11 mirrors the PE (Player Exclusive) pair Michael Jordan wore during Game 1 of the 1996 NBA Finals.
The upper features black ballistic mesh with shiny black patent leather wrapping around the mudguard, delivering that unmistakable AJ11 flair. A white Phylon midsole contrasts beautifully with the Varsity Red translucent outsole, giving this pair its signature “Bred” look. One subtle but important update: unlike the 2015 release, the 2025 version features a black sockliner instead of red, staying more faithful to MJ’s original PE.
Expect this release to drop on April 26, 2025, for a retail price of $190 USD, via Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers.
This pair isn’t just a sneaker—it’s a time capsule that honors Jordan’s legacy and the golden era of ’90s basketball footwear.

Originally released in 1995, the Air Jordan 11 was a game-changer in both performance and design. Tinker Hatfield’s innovative use of patent leather was inspired by formal wear, giving the sneaker a polished look that pushed basketball footwear into lifestyle territory.
MJ wore the original high-top “Bred” 11s during the 1996 NBA Playoffs, where he capped off a historic 72–10 season with his fourth championship. The low-top “Bred” version was never a general release back then—it was a special PE worn by MJ himself. It wasn’t until 2015 that we saw a retail version, and now in 2025, Jordan Brand is giving us the most authentic retro yet.

The Air Jordan 11 Low generally fits true to size for most people. If you have narrow to average-width feet, going with your regular Nike/Jordan size should work just fine.
If you’re someone with wide feet, you might feel a bit snug across the patent leather area at first, but the materials tend to loosen slightly after a few wears. Going up a half size can offer a more comfortable fit without too much length.
As always, if you own other pairs of Jordan 11s—especially mids or lows—stick with whatever size has worked best for you in those.
