THE RETURN OF A CLASSIC!
With a number of hot releases planned for the remainder of 2022 including collaborations with A Ma Maniére, Travis Scott, and J Balvin, Jordan Brand has upped the ante by recently announcing the release of the long-awaited Air Jordan 2 "Chicago”. Originally released back in 1986, the AJ2 is easily one of Michael Jordan's most slept on signature models, but we’ll see if that changes once these drop in the fall.
COMING IN TRUE OG FORM
Dressed in a white, black, and red color scheme, this rendition of the classic is set to imitate all the details of the original pair featuring a white smooth leather upper in a high cut style.
Tumbled leather panels also grace the shoe with black detailing all across the laces, inner lining, midsoles, and piping of the midfoot overlays. The “Varsity Red” color on the heel and tongue branding reflects the team color of the Chicago Bulls.
Rounding out the package will be the OG-style box that the shoes will be housed in to reiterate the OG vibes. If we could make a guess, this will be one of the more highly-coveted shoes of the Holiday 2022 season.
