Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Rebellionaire'

AN ODE TO AN EVERLASTING LEGACY

For March 2022, the Air Jordan 1 returns with a new swagger just in time for the 2022 NBA “All-Star” Weekend festivities with the release of the new “Rebellionaire” colorway.

View Our Fit And Sizing Guide

A close relative to the OG “Shadow” Air Jordan 1 colorway that last released back in 2018, this “Rebellionaire” iteration brings some added nostalgic flair with it’s special design features that are sure to make this an instant hit.

The color-blocking will be identical to the OG “Shadow” colorway, with the only exception being the red “X” that appears on both heals, paying homage to the “Banned” colorway. For the materials, the shoe’s upper is comprised of a unique semi-distressed leather that features glossy grafiti-style lettering that reads “They Can’t Stop You From Wearing Them” on both the black and shadow panels.

Rounding out the shoe’s design will be the black and white Nike Air logo on the tongue, the white midsole, and shadow outsole. No special packaging details seem to be a part of this release, but we could be wrong.

The Air Jordan 1

Sneaker History

The Air Jordan 1 was originally released back in 1985 and was designed by sneaker designer, Peter Moore. Many decades after its original release, the AJ1 remains atop the list of iconic sneakers and continues to stay relevant across world borders and generations.

Used as the canvas for many of Jordan Brand’s collaborations with celebrities and fashion-designers, all forms of the Air Jordan 1 (high, mid, low") have garnered love from both seasoned sneakerheads to casual buyers and everyone in between.
