Teddy Santis And New Balance Back Again With Another 990v3 Colorway For 2022!
Over the course of a few years, New Balance has solidified itself as a brand that younger sneakerheads can no longer ignore and pass off as “old people” shoes. The Boston-based brand has done so by releasing a variety of new and trendy silhouettes, but not while losing their commitment to the brand’s “Made in the Us” heritage models.
Here in 2022, that fact continues to reign true as New Balance has decided to team up with ALD founder, Teddy Santis, to create a plethora of new colorways within the classic 990 lineup. For the later part of June, we can expect the classy “Moonbeam” colorway to hit retail shelves this Summer.

What Materials Are On The Shoe?
Upper: When it comes down to materials, you’re going to be hard-pressed to find any sneaker from any brand that has the quality that New Balance offers with its “Made in the US” series sneakers. Although I haven’t held this pair in hand, I can say with confidence that the suede and mesh materials found on this shoe will be second to non. In addition, 3M and synthetic textile hits will also be featured throughout to add visual and functional contrast.

Midsole: As far as the midsole, you’ll find New Balance’s proprietary ENCAP cushioning technology that offers the near-prefect blend of cushioning, stability, and flexibility that New Balance is known for providing with its sneakers.
What Colors Are On The Shoes?
Make no mistake about it, this shoe isn’t going to turn heads with an exotic mix of colors, but it definitely stands out due to the sneaker’s expert placement of subtle and neutral tones that come together to create a low-key classy look.
Upper: The shoe’s features panels of cream and charcoal grey suede panels that are matched with the cream mesh that adds breathability to the shoe. Also appearing on the upper are the grey hits of 3M that makeup the “N” logo and back heel panel.
Midsole: The midsole features the same light cream color found on the shoe’s upper but also adds the darker shade of grey around the heal portion which completes the look even more.

The New Balance 990v3 "Moonbeam" is set to drop on June 30, 2022 for a retail price of $200 on NewBalance.com and at select retailers.
