It’s a Birthday Celebration For The Air Jordan 7!
2022 marks the 30-year anniversary of the original Air Jordan 7, so it’s no surprise that Jordan Brand has some AJ7 heat cooked up for Summer 2022. For July, the "Citrus" Air Jordan 7 will be returning for the first time since its original 2006 release.
Materials, Colorway & Design
As far as materials, the “Citrus” Jordan 7 features an upper comprised of black nubuck panels that pair nicely with the contrasting yellow stitching throughout.
Rounding out the design are the red and yellow accents that appear on the sock liner, tongue branding, and decorative midsole graphics.

The Air Jordan 7 debuted in 1992 in five colorways:
Bordeau (shown above)
Hare
Raptor
Olympic
Cardinal
The AJ7 featured an inner bootie made of neoprene and a geometric tongue decoration deeply influenced by West African tribal culture. Except for the ‘Olympic’ colorway, which featured Jordans’ ‘9’ jersey number from the 1992 Barcelonan Olympics, the AJ7s featured a triangle on their heels that had the ‘23’ marking.
