INSTANT “COLLEGIATE” CLASSIC?
For the last few years, sneakerheads have been gifted a sneaker drop that harkens back to MJ’s collegiate. This year, the familiar White, Blue, and Black color combo will be making its way to the Air Jordan 6 silhouette.
Fashioned in a way that resembles the OG “Carmine colorway, this 2022 iteration Air Jordan 6 features UNC blue underlays, white overlays, and navy and black accents that come together to make this one of Jordan Brand’s nicer Spring releases from our perspective.
Rounding out the shoes design will be the inclusion of a patterned tongue reminiscent of the AJ7 and the branding patch that replaces the usual Jumpman/Nike Air logo on the back heal.

You can expect the Air Jordan 6 “UNC” to release on March 5th in full-family sizing at select retailers for an increased retail price tag of $210 USD for adult pairs. The Air Jordan 6 was originally released back in 1991 and was another model designed by world-renowned sneaker designer, Tinker Hatfield.
The shoe dropped in four OG colorways with the “Infrared” and “Carmine” being two of the more popular colorways to release. The Air Jordan 6 also happens to be the signature shoe MJ wore during his very first title run.
Fast forward to today, and the Air Jordan 6 remains one of the more highly sought after silhouettes out of the entire Jordan lineup and a bonafide classic for those who were old enough to see Jordan wear them on court.
