Lows Better Than the Highs?
Following the release of its High OG counterpart, the Travis Scott x Fragment Air Jordan 1 Low OG’s is ready to steal the spotlight and surpass the hype of its predecessor.
Featuring familiar design elements and slightly tweaked color-blocking, this low-top Air Jordan 1 is positioning itself as being one of the hottest sneaker releases of 2021 which is unusual for the silhouette.
In a league of its own
This triple-threat collab between Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design, Travis Scott, and Jordan Brand features all the familiar mix of tumbled leather, nylon, and textiles that we find on most AJ1 releases, but that’s where the sameness ends.
Based on early looks, the materials appear to be up to par for a sneaker of this caliber, however, the color-blocking and special design details are where this sneaker really shines. The OG shape is accentuated by the black panels that appear on the toe-box and lace areas, while the sail reverse swoosh midsole and tongue attribute to the sneaker’s vintage vibes.
Rounding out the sneaker’s design are the Cactus Jack, and Fragment logos that are dispersed around the shoe in a subtle, yet notable fashion.
